layers is not a good idea i have that same problem and i have layer and its still puffy so far i have been putting panetne comb in conditoner after i take a bath ( when its wet) then come it with my fingers and then after 15 min. cominging it with a brush and i have gotten go resulte but now im out of it and it looks thinner
