I wanna get my hair cut but...?

my parents won't let me? My Mom is pretty ok with it but my Dad really doesn't want me to. I have medium length hair but i want it cut a little above my shoulders. I'm not coming on here to complain and have people bash my parents. I want some advice. How can I make them see the light?

Try talking nicely to your parents and showing them pictures of the kind of haircut you want. If it's not too drastic of a change, I'm sure they'll see that and appreciate your respectful persistence and care about your hair.

How old are you? If you're at least 12 you should be making your own hair choices! Just explain to them that you would like to try out a new look, and if you don't like it afterward, it'll always grow back!

I usually cry to make my parents feel guilty

or... talk about how nice your friends hair are and that they are allowed to have theirs cut

therefore making them feel like they are making you miss out!

have you tried sitting down and talking to your dad? well if not that could work and you should think more about what kind of hair style you want. one time i had long hair and cut it short it's long again but i did miss it, alot.!
