I have medium length hair, with side bangs, its strait, i pretty much will do anything to it, i just need some ideas.

I'd hate to complicate things, but it depends on your facial structure. Wear your hair up one day, see if you get any comments-or try fishing them out of people. Same thing with wearing it down! :]

Also, would you be the dancing diva or the sitting socialite? If you know that you're going to be just chilling out with your friends most of the night, wear your hair down, straight or in curls-however you can work it with your dress. Dancing the night away? Try something that won't get in your face or make you hot from it being on your neck, perhaps a elegant updo?
