Need medium hair to look short!?

i need my hair to look shorter for halloween, like this:

my hair is just below my shoulders with shortish layers.

and i can make my bangs look like his.

and i'll just temporarily dye my hair blackish brown.

just the length is a problem...

so please help?

if all else fails i'll wear i wig.
