If ur only washing ur hair once a week u should give it 1 really good cleanse or 2 if u like a lather. Using a good shampoo helps ie Paul Mitchell tea tree special shampoo or nioxin deep cleanser. The first shampoo u do is tha main one in which u r cleansing tha scalp of any build up and residue. If u feel after that it is not feeling soo fresh and clean do a second cleanse but with half tha shampoo u used for tha first cleanse

i wash my hair every 2nd day, washing it everyday can strip it of natural oils and make it very weak (i know this from experience, i use to wash it everyday until it started breaking off) and using too much product will ruin your hair too.
